Catamount Pipe Band
Richmond is a member of Catamount Pipe Band, Vermont's premier Scottish bagpipe band, an intergenerational organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Celtic music, tradition, and culture. In addition to enriching the community as cultural ambassadors, its members hone their skills through performance and competition. During the 2018 season, CPB were Grade 4 Northeast EUSPBA Champions, and qualified for the finals at the Worlds Pipe Band Championships.

Bagad New York
A bagad is a Breton band, composed of bagpipes, bombards and drums. Though inspired by the Scottish example, a bagad plays Breton music, mainly for dancers. There are many bagadoù outside Brittany, owing to Breton emigration throughout France, but Bagad New York is the first, and so far only, bagad in the US. With members from New York City and Upstate New York, Bagad New York plays venues from Manhattan to Saratoga Springs, and Festivals in New England, Pennsylvania, even Alaska.

Bagad New York will play at A Celebration of Celtic Culture at the 2019 Balmoral Classic, a weekend that includes a piping competition, concert, and workshop.
Capital Region Celtic Pipe Band
Based in Albany, New York, the Capital Region Celtic Pipe Band combines the entertainment of public performances with the challenge of pipe band competitions to create an organization that is both fun and musically challenging.
